Think of it as art that keeps you warm at night.

I was cold!

It was one of those way below zero Vermont nights, the woodstove was blazing, but I just could not get warm. So, I decided to try to get comfortable in one of my wool sweaters. Ah, that got me a little toastier, but my feet were still freezing. I thought to myself, if only I could get this sweater to wrap around my cold feet. That’s when the idea for the wool sweater quilts was born.

With this inspiration I made my first wool sweater quilt. Friends and relatives all wanted one and soon I was selling them as gift items to their friends and relatives. Not long after that some fine Vermont gift shops picked them up and my small business had a good start.

That was more than 15 years ago and since then I have made hundreds of these warm snugly quilts for happy customers all over the globe.

I know you’ll enjoy either getting or giving one.

Stay warm!
